Global Memorandum of Understanding

NLNG’s Global Memorandum of Understanding (GMoU) is a transformative initiative designed to empower host communities, foster sustainable development, and create a harmonious relationship between NLNG and its stakeholder communities.
The GMoU, launched in May 2021, structures communities into 11 clusters across two phases, ensuring inclusive development.
Phase 1:
Focused on Node Junction and CHO clusters (Ramuji, Ubeta, Ogbumuabali, Amadi-Ama).
Phase 2:
Extends to Pipeline clusters (Abua, Ogba, Egi, Ekpeye, Kalabari, Emohua, Okrika).
The GMoU empowers communities to lead their development, reducing agitations and fostering capacity building in project management.
