Commercial Opportunities

Any company interested in engaging NLNG in commercial opportunities, including participating in any of NLNG's product sales schemes, will be required to undergo a registration process. This process will involve a comprehensive assessment of the company's ability to perform based on demonstrable experience that meets the requirements of the sales scheme or opportunity.

The company will be required to do the following:

Submit a formal Expression of Interest and Company Profile
Four refrigerated LPG tanks (65,000 m³ each for propane and butane)
Three condensate storage tanks (36,000 m³ each)

Expression of Interest
The company will be required to submit a formal expression of interest duly addressed to the General Manager, Commercial of Nigeria LNG Limited. Furthermore, the company will submit a company profile that describes its business activities, ownership and organizational structure, financial strength and any other relevant corporate information.​ If your company is interested in participating in any of the below-mentioned sales schemes or in engaging NLNG on any other commercial opportunity, please submit the information in the Expression of Interest page.
Registration Documents
NLNG will engage the company upon receipt of the expression of interest. Subsequently, the company will be required to submit documents that demonstrate ability to perform in the sales scheme or to fulfill commitments in the opportunity. For companies interested in registering to participate in NLNG’s sales schemes, the following documents are required.

Evidence of presence in Nigeria or affiliation with Nigerian companies
Shipping
Evidence of ship ownership, chartering, or firm agreements with shippers or brokers
Ship quality assurance, HSE, safety management system documents
Shipping operations contingency plan and risk management documents
Finance
Annual audited financial statements for each of the last three years
Evidence of financial support in the form of a parent company guarantee, letter of credit, bank guarantee or reference letter from a reputable financial institution.

Evidence of LPG volumes traded or similar energy products traded in Nigeria​

Evidence of ownership of LPG trucks or agreements with trucking service providers
Evidence of quality assurance, safety management documents, staff HSE trainings
Finance
Annual audited financial statements for each of the last three years
Evidence of financial support in the form of a parent company guarantee, letter of credit, bank guarantee or reference letter from a reputable financial institution.

Further Engagements with NLNG
NLNG will review all documents submitted by the company towards registration and may need to contact the company for further information or clarification. Furthermore, NLNG may engage the services of a third-party consultant towards this registration process and will inform the company ahead of such engagements where necessary.
