NLNG Sells its First Cargo to the U.S.

Nigeria LNG Limited confirms that it concluded, on May 23^rd, an agreement with CMS Energy for the sale of 1 spot LNG cargo. The cargo was lifted by the LNG Delta on May 25^th, and is due to arrive at CMS Energy's Lake Charles LNG receiving terminal in Louisiana in the U.S. on June 11^th .

This is a major milestone for Nigeria LNG, in that it represents the first spot cargo from our facilities at Bonny Island, and it is also the first time Nigeria LNG sells gas to the U.S. This shows our determination to expand into new markets, and optimize the use of our assets to the best interest of our shareholders. We expect such trades to be a permanent part of our business in the future, and we look at the U.S. market as a very interesting outlet for our LNG, both for spot and long term sales. We are therefore actively pursuing other business opportunities in this market at this point in time.
