SALE OF 0.5BCM TO TRANSGAS

Nigeria LNG Limited has opened preliminary discussions with TRANSGAS of Portugal for the sale of up to 0.5 bcm/y to be delivered to TRANSGAS via the Huelva receiving facilities of ENAGAS in Spain.

The start of the delivery is emphasised to be at the Start Up of Nigeria LNG Plant in Bonny, that is, second half of 1999.

This volume is separate from the ENEL volumes.
